Johnstone Creek: Find your peaceful retreat at this quiet roadside campground near Osoyoos
Johnstone Creek is a small, forested campground just off Hwy 3. Campers seeking relaxation in a beautiful nature setting or those looking for a well-situated roadside stopover close to Osoyoos might find Johnstone Creek Provincial Park perfect for their needs. This campground is less than 10 minutes from Rock Creek and Kettle River Recreation Area and provides campers a quick 35 minute drive to Osoyoos.
The park has 38 hectares of mature Douglas fir, larch and spruce trees that provide habitat for woodpeckers and other cavity nesting bird species. White-tailed deer are often seen in the park. Wildlife viewing opportunities can be observed from the short nature loop hike and lookout trail.
Campsites are often available for last-minute campers in peak months.

Sites are self-registration and all fees are cash only.
There are 16 campsites at this park. It is 100% first come, first serve (no reservations possible).
Pit toilets are available at this park.
There is a water hand pump. Boil water notice. It is recommended to bring drinking water.
Campfires are permitted in the campsite fire rings. Fires must be less than .5m high. Please do not leave fires unattended and watch for fire ban notices. Firewood bundles $12 or 3 for $30.
Hiking opportunities exist in the area. There is a short scenic nature loop.
Wildlife viewing opportunities exist at this park.
Pets are welcome at this park but must be on a leash at all times.
