Christina Lake is a Popular Day Trip Destination for Families Looking to Picnic and Swim
Christina Lake has a reputation of being one of the warmest lakes in all of Canada and is very popular with families. With its 350 meters of fine sandy beach, people flock to this swimming destination in the summer months. Christina Lake has parking for over 200 vehicles. Plenty of shade trees and picnic tables near the beach, combined with a warm shallow swimming area make this a super beach for the kids.
There is no overnight camping at this location. The closest provincial park campground with overnight accommodation is Gladstone (Texas Creek campground), 10 km east of Christina Lake. Nearby provincial campgrounds that should be able to accommodate last-minute campers in July and August include Boundary Creek, Jewel Lake, and Nancy Greene.
There are both flush and pit toilets at this park.
There are water posts available at the beach area.

There are approximately 30 picnic tables just above the beach area.
Christina Lake is popular for swimming and all water activities. It is known as one of the warmest lakes in Canada. There are no lifeguards on duty.
This day-use area has a large sandy beach and is great for families. It is very popular during the summer.
Motor boat activities are popular on Christina Lake. Boat launch at Texas Creek campground (Gladstone Provincial Park). Hard bottom boats must not enter the marked swim area.
